In 2014 I had the honor of being chosen to co-own Maison DNA, a boutique that featured and celebrated Diversity, Nature & Art and where a carefully curated collection of pre-loved eclectic vintage, designer and one-of-a-kind clothing lived along side local art & home goods.
Over 4 years Maison DNA blossomed into a collaborative art space hosting numerous open mic nights, photoshoots, craft shows, art shows, band performances and local theater group rehearsals. It was also featured in a book series written by the owner Beth Loomis.
Despite closing its doors in 2018, it lives on as being one of Newport Rhode Island most eclectic stores where many of a great time was had and where wonderful relationships were formed that still live on to today.
