Otherworld is a fashion-meets-music editorial created to promote the EP Otherworld by Dolly Valentine (previously Holy Golden), shot on location at the atmospheric Rough Point Mansion in Newport, RI.
Featuring models Leslie Schott and Andrew Valenti of Dolly Valentine and photographed by Caroline Goddard, the series blends high-fashion sensibilities with a haunting, narrative arc inspired by the gothic imagery of Edward Gorey and other dark style references.
Set against the mansion’s historic backdrop and styled with wardrobe from Maison DNA, the visuals depict a young woman shadowed by a mysterious figure who ultimately becomes her companion — a visual metaphor that echoes the EP’s evocative themes. The project bridges editorial, music promotion, and gothic storytelling, creating a timelessly eerie world that amplifies the band’s artistic identity and the mood of their music.
Behind the Fashion:
Fashions were carefully curated by me to align with pre established band's aesthetic that mixes surreal, vintage and dreamy styles aiming to bring a touch of a darker more gothic storytelling to every shot.

Andrew plays the character of a dracula-eque ghostly entity so donning a Victorian fringe cape helped visually create a both a looming but hauntingly captivating presence.

Throughout the editorial, Leslie is presented in a shifting progression of colors and silhouettes — from cream to blue to white, and ultimately black,  symbolizing her transformation from outsider to companion of the spectral entity, drawn into an otherworldly realm where they exist together.
